Plane crash bodies handed over to relatives

KATHMANDU May 16: Bodies of eight Indian nationals, who died in a plane crash in Jomsom on Monday, have been handed over to their families.



The bodies were handed-over on Wednesday to their families in the presence of officials of the Indian Embassy after postmortem at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. [break]



Preparations are underway to send the remaining five bodies to India tomorrow, according to the Indian Embassy.



Fifteen people including two crew members died in a plane crash of Agni Air while it was making its flight to Jomsom from Pokhara.



There were a total of 21 people including three crew members in the plane.Six persons were rescued alive from the incident site.
