KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The parliament meeting has been adjourned till Monday without meeting on Sunday. The Parliament Secretariat in a notice has stated that the parliament will meet at 11 a.m. Monday. The secretariat issued the noticed four hours after the scheduled time. Because of the warning from five small political parties and two independent members to picket the rostrum demanding withdrawal of Scholarship Bill, the parliamentary business advisory committee could not decide to convene the meeting. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had agreed to express commitment in the House to withdraw the Bill but the agitating party lawmakers demanded his written commitment.
