According to the Area Police Office, Damak, the accident took place when a bus (Ko 1 Kha 3615) heading towards East from West and a micro bus (Ba 3 Kha 397) coming from opposite direction collided with each other. [break]
Eight people including Anjana Rai of Chandragadhi-8, Tulasa Neupane and Pabitra Tamang were injured in the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at local Amda Hospital and Lifeline Hospital, said police.
Similarly, in Saptari district, six people were injured in a road mishap at a place called Five Kilometer along the Rupani-Rajbiraj road section this morning.
The accident took place when a Lahan-bound mini-bus (Lu 1 Kha 4158) from Rajbiraj overturned on the road due to high speed, said police.
All the injured are undergoing treatment at Raypur-based Unique Hospital.
