Critically injured Jugeswor Khatwe, 55, of Sarpallo VDC-3 succumbed to injuries while he was being taken to hospital.[break]
It is said that Khatwe was attacked with bamboo planks by Mohan Mandal when he went to end the dispute that took among Mohan Mandal and Neresh Mandal at a local liquor shop, according to Mahottari District Police Office.
Critically injured Jagadish Khatwe is undergoing treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital. Police arrested Ram Bahadur Mandal for investigation after the incident.
2 seriously hurt in mishap
LAMJUNG: Two persons seriously injured when the motorbike they were riding collided with a truck at Sundar Bazaar-8 in Lamjung district Thursday.
The seriously injured are Surendra Mishra (35) of Besisahar and Dayanidhi Poudel of Tanahun. They were rushed to Kathmandu.
Following the accident police seized the truck (Na 3 KHa 9887) and arrested the driver.
