The party staged the relay fast from 8:00 am on Friday by putting forth 10-point demands including citizenship be provided from mother´s name, date of election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) be declared and number of constituencies be declared on the geographical and cultural basis.[break]
A total of eight persons including Central Vice-Chairman of the party, Bishwonath Singh Rajbanshi, District Chairman Surya Narayan Ganesh and Mahasamiti member Narayan Rajbanshi are in the relay fast.
District Secretary of the National Madhes Socialist Party, Devendra Kishor Dhungana, said that there is moral support of the party in the relay fast.
