Baidya said his party along with 32 other protesting parties is not against the idea of talk, however. He added that they would sit for dialogue once there is a positive response to their three-point condition. [break]
“Even if the government has called us for talks, we are not ready for it in the existing situation,” said Baidya who has arrived here to attend the 33 parties’ Mechi-Mahakali campaign. “The government is making mistake one after another.”
He however said there have been no talks held among the 33 parties regarding the government call for dialogue. The parties´ conditions include the scrapping of the 25-point deal signed on March 14, the citizenship bill and controversial appointment of Lok Man Singh Karki as chef of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority.
