KATHMANDU, April 20: Two Nepali films, 'Chocolate' and 'Tata Bye-Bye' are being screened at the 'San Francisco Global Movie Fest' to be held in the US from August 7 to 16 this year.

Organized by the Federation of Indo America for the past 21 years, this is the first time Nepali film is getting an entry into the festival.

The 10-day long festival will see the screening of short films, feature films, and documentaries from 30 countries from around the world. Artist duo Sunil Thapa and Pujana Pradhan have been confirmed to participate in the event.

The films were allowed to participate in the festival after the organizers appointed Chairman of Gorkha International Group USA and Taekwondo instructor Prakash Thapa as its Global Director. According to Thapa, Nepali films will have the opportunity to participate in the next editions of the festival, too. He also informed that actors Sunil Thapa and Pujana Pradhan have been confirmed to attend the film festival.
