KATHMANDU, March 11: The Nepal Teachers' Association (NTA) has launched the second phase of its protest against various issues within the education sector. Today, NTA members gathered at the central office of the Nepali Congress in Sanepa, staging a sit-in as a part of their ongoing movement.

As the protest unfolded outside the Nepali Congress (NC) headquarters, teachers remained steadfast, holding banners and chanting slogans, calling for improvements in the education system and greater support for teachers, pressing for the issuance of the long-awaited School Education Act. The NTA has made it clear that their protests will intensify if their demands are not addressed in a timely manner.
