Nepal leaving for India on July 24

KATHMANDU, July 19: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal is visiting India from July 24 at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh.



During his five-day visit to India, Nepal is scheduled to hold meetings with senior political leaders of India, according to Bishnu Rijal, a member of the UML Publicity Department.



Nepal is also scheduled to address a special programme in Nalanda University. Nepal will be accompanied by UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel and his former foreign affairs adviser Rajan Bhattarai. His visit comes after senior leader of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba´s visit to India last month.
