KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Nepal became team champion in the IMGC World Kung-fu Championship that concluded in New Delhi, India on Sunday. Nepal claimed 12 gold medals, six silvers and a bronze to become the champion. Host India finished runner-up.

Players from 17 nations took part in the four-day championship. Officials, coaches, family members among others welcomed the team that returned on Monday.
