KATHMANDU, June 6: Senior Nepali Congress leader and former minister Bal Bahadur Rai has been admitted to Alka Hospital at Jawalakhel after suffering from multiple health problems including typhoid and problems in kidneys.
The 90-year-old leader from Okhaldhunga was admitted to the hospital five days ago after he complained of stomach ache and nausea. Doctors said Rai´s health is improving but he needs dialysis for kidney problems.
The hospital has referred Rai to some other hospital for dialysis, according to Dr Kanak KC.
