Organizing a press meet in the capital on Friday, NVA General Secretary Jitendra Bahadur Chand informed that the women's event will begin from May 3 and conclude on May 7, while the men's event will be held from June 15 to 19.
Altogether seven clubs will vie for the women's title and six teams will take part in men's event.
All three departmental teams APF Sports Club, Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club along with Jawalkhel Volleyball Training Center will take part in both women's and men's sections, while New Diamond Academy, Western Region Volleyball Association and Shree Gaun Sports Club will participate in the women's category only. Likewise, Dhorpatan Sports Training Center and Help Nepal Sports Club will vie in the men's event.
The winner, runner-up and the team finishing third will bag Rs 150,000, Rs 75,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively in both women's and men's sections, while the best players in both sections will get Rs 15,000 each.
Likewise, best blocker, spiker, server, libero, and lifter will be awarded Rs 5,000 each.
