National open karate from Thursday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Shito-ryu Karate Association´s Lainchaur branch dojo is organizing the Third Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial National Open Karate Championship in Kathmandu from Thursday.



Altogether 700 players will be vying for 30 golds in the two-day tournament, according to coordinator of the organizing committee, Ram Kumar Tharu. [break]



All the matches will be held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lainchaur.
