Full Contact Karate from Friday

KATHMANDU, Mar 12: Nepal Kyokushin Karate-Do Association Bajra is set to organize the 15th National Men’s and the 14th National Women’s Open Full Contact Karate Tournament from March 16.

KATHMANDU, Mar 12: Nepal Kyokushin Karate-Do Association Bajra is set to organize the 15th National Men’s and the 14th National Women’s Open Full Contact Karate Tournament from March 16. Organizing a press meet in the capital on Sunday, the organizers informed that the two-day tournament will be played at National Sports Council (NSC)’s Covered Hall. A total of 102 players—70 men and 32 women from seven provinces—will take part in the tournament. The organizers further informed that the winners of both the categories will take home Rs 10,000 each, while the runner-ups will be rewarded with Rs 5,000 each. Also, the third-placed players will get Rs 2,500 each. Likewise, the best players of each category will be prized with Rs 1,200 each.
