KATHMANDU, May 8: Nepal Kyokushin Karate-DO Association Bajra is set to organize the 20th Men’s and 13th Women’s National Open Full Contact Karate Tournament from Friday.
Speaking at a press meet organized in Kathmandu, the organizers confirmed that the two-day tournament will feature the players from all seven provinces. They added that 85 men and 38 women players will be participating in the tournament.

The winner of the men’s category will be rewarded with Rs 30,000, while the runner-up and the third-placed player will earn Rs 15,000 and Rs 7,500. Also, the fourth-placed player will take home a cash prize of Rs 3,500.
Likewise, the winner of the women’s category will receive Rs 10,000, the runner-up will be rewarded with Rs 5,000, the third and the fourth played players will earn Rs 2,500 and Rs 1,000 respectively. The organizers said that an estimated sum of Rs 1.2 million will be spent for the tournament.
