Nabil defeated Kantipur Group by five wickets in the Super League match at the TU Cricket Ground. Batting first, Kantipur scored 59/1 with Suraj Singh Thakuri getting 33 not out but Laxman Charan Joshi (23 not out) and Sameer Shakya (20 not out) ensured Nabil’s win in 4.3 overs.
Later on the day, Kantipur beat Nagarik Media by six wickets in the battle of media house to finish with two wins in the group but Nabil, which has a match in hand against Surya Nepal, will proceed even if it loses as head-to-head comes into play.

Nagarik scored 43/2 with Arun Thapa getting 24 not out. Kantipur chased it in 2.4 overs with Thakuri getting 26 not out.
Earlier, Nagarik Media defeated Surya Nepal by 11 runs. Electing to bat, Thapa’s 31 not out helped Nagarik score 44/1. They restricted Surya Nepal for 33/2.
In other super league matches, Indian Embassy (87/4) defeated Bank of Asia (30/4) by 57 runs; Citizen International Bank (47/5) lost to Nepal SBI Bank (48/1) by five wickets and Standard Chartered Bank (56/1) beat NIC Bank (52/2) by four runs.
Similarly, Kumari Bank (37/3) lost to Laxmi Bank (40/1) by five wickets and Nepal SBI Bank (57/2) defeated Nepal Investment Bank (52/3) by five runs.
