Miranilini Shrestha scored 14 points to guide the team for the victory. Morgan lost the first quarter 11-12 but bounced back in the second quarter with 16-11 win. By the half time, Morgan had taken four points lead and did not let the opponent make a comeback in the game. Morgan took the third quarter 14-7 and the fourth 13-3 to seal the match.
In another match, Premier registered a hard fought victory over Xavier International, scoring 24-21 in extra time. After the regular time ended in a 19-19 draw, the match was taken to extra time. Earlier, Premier took the first quarter 3-0 and lost the second quarter with a scoreline of 2-5.
Premier took the third quarter 9-8 to take a one-point lead as the overall score was 14-13 by the end of the third quarter. However, Premier lost the fourth quarter 5-6 which leveled the final score.
Xavier showed its fighting spirit and scored five points against two points of Premier to take the game in its side. Barsha KC was the highest scorer of the match with 13 points. Xavier had lost its first match against Morgan a day ago.
In the last match of the day, Prime continued its dominance in the national game registering its second victory in the championship. Prime defeated NASA 48-35 with 14 points from Sneha Shrestha. Prime took hold of the game scoring 16-7 in the first quarter and 12-8 in the second quarter.
Prime also won the third quarter 13-7 to extend the lead by 19 points with an overall score of 41- 22. NASA bounced back in the last quarter for a 13-7 win but it was too late.
