According to the exam code of conduct, the head teacher of the school, where exams will be conducted, will be the superintendent of the exam center and the teachers of the school invigilators.
Speaking at a press meet on Tuesday, District Education Officer Bhoj Raj Kafle said, "The exams will be conducted by the teachers of the same exam center. If the examinees found breaching the exams code of conduct, he/she will be expelled outright from the exam hall."
He informed that all the preparations including security, monitoring, staff-training have already been in place. Everyone including the staff is obliged to maintain pin-drop silence and mind their footfalls while entering the exam hall. Similarly, each exam center will be equipped with one first aid room, he added.
As many as 5,747 examinees from 134 schools are taking their SLC exams in Gulmi district this year. Of them, 2,218 are girls while 2107 are boys. There are 30 exams centers and 235 invigilators.The SLC exam is starting from March 19.
