Maoist show black flags to PM

DHARAN, Sept 1: As a part of their scheduled protests, Maoist cadres on Tuesday showed black flags to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal here. The prime minister was shown black flags when he was on the way to lay foundation stone of the Chamber Guest Building at Dharan Municipality-1.



The Maoists chanted strong slogans against the government and demanded dissolution of what they called ´unconstitutional´ cabinet.







The Maoist standing committee meeting on Monday had decided to boycott the prime minister´s public functions and to wave black flags to all cabinet members until a motion against the president over his reinstating army chief is discussed in the parliament.
