POKHARA, June 5: Co-operative victims displayed black flags to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal during his visit to Pokhara. The protest occurred during PM Dahal’s address to a cadres assembly at an auditorium in Pokhara. Police intervened and arrested several of the protestors.
The victims accused Prime Minister Dahal of supporting individuals implicated in a cooperative fraud case. They alleged that PM Dahal has openly defended Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, who is also implicated in a co-operative fraud case controversy.
Black is bold
The demonstration against PM Dahal has been ongoing in Pokhara for several days, highlighting the victims' demands for justice and accountability in the cooperative fraud case.
