Kami, who was also the district vice-president of Dalit Mukti Morcha, was found in an injured state at Patukhola Bazar in district headquarters Khalanga, the police said. He died while being treated at the district hospital.
Police have reportedly arrested Kamala BK of Kakri VDC in connection with the murder.
