Man found dead, five still missing in Trishuli

RATNANAGAR (Chitwan), June 17: Prem Bote, 18, of Jagatpur VDC-1 has been found dead in the Rapti River. He had gone missing since two days in course of fishing in the river, said Chitwan Police.



Bote´s body was found on the bank of the river in course of a search carried out by a joint team of police and locals, said Sub-Inspector Tek Bahadur Gurung at the Area police Office Gitanagar, Chitwan. [break]



Meanwhile, a search is underway for those missing in the Trishuli River at Darechowk VDC-3, Kurintar of Chitwan. So far, the missing five have not been traced.



The river had swept away five out of six teenagers including three sisters of a single family on Saturday.
