According to a preliminary investigation, Gokul used to work as a domestic help in the residence of Ganfney. One day when Gokul asked for his remuneration, Gafney denied paying him as promised. Gafney was drinking coffee when Gokul reached his residence at 10:30 pm on December 13.

In a fit of rage, Gokul hacked Gaffney to death with a khukuri and decanped with Rs 22,000 from his cupboard.

To escape arrest, Gokul left for India and began to work as a laborer, said SSP Puskhar Karki.

This is the murder case for which the highest number of probe teams has ever been formed to look into but in vain. The recent MPCD probe team is the 11th one which finally came up with these details.
