Addressing a gathering of Non-resident Nepalis (NRNs) living in different parts fo Europe in the Hague, the Netherlands on Tuesday, Koirala said the government was eager to join hands with NRNs for reducing poverty and boosting economic prosperity of the country.[break]
Assuring that the government would create investment climate in the country, he urged the NRNs to return to the motherland with necessary capital, technology and skills.
Stating that mere sentimental attachment to the homeland is not sufficient, he also urged Nepali community in Europe to contribute in nation building.
On the occasion, NRN leaders asked to Koirala to take initiative for guaranteeing the security of their investment in Nepal. They also drew the attention of Koirala toward prolonged political uncertainty in the country.
