Khanal demands to declare Alam as martyr

HETAUDA, Oct 11: CPN-UML Chairperson Jhalanath Khanal has demanded the governmtyent to declare the late Mohammad Alam, the party´s central member and candidate for the first-past-the-post (FPTP) from Bara district constituency no. 4, a martyr.





At a press meet organized by Press Chautari Makawanpur in Hetauda on Friday, Chairperson Khanal said that the November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) election should be made a success to consolidate parliamentary democracy and safeguard the freedom of press. [break]



The UML Chairperson called for the government to make strong security arrangement so as to enable environment for every candidate to reach to the doorsteps of the people.



Responding to a query, he said that the coming election would establish UML the largest party.
