Playing under 16-handicap allowance, Ghale scored 37 and 42 on the two halves, while Rai shot 37 and 44 respectively under 18-handicap allowance. [break]
Rai, who shot 28 nett on the first nine holes, also received the best front nine award. The tournament was played under stroke play full handicap format.
Meanwhile, Rekha Ghimire was declared the winner in ladies´ category. She scored one-over 68 to claim the title while Kalpana Limbu finished second with 72.
Rahul Agrawal (59) won the title of the junior boys´ category while Sonam Ongdi Lama (60) won the title of the junior girls´ category.
Man Bahadur Limbu claimed the best gross award with the score of 73 while Mani Prasad Rai won the super senior (above 70yrs) title with the score of 72. Ganga Bahadur Gurung (64) bagged the senior section award, ahead of Gopal Chitrakar (67 count back).
Pradeep SJB Rana bagged the most birdies award with three birdies under his belt, whereas Rajendra Shrestha won the longest drive award and Neeraj SJB Rana claimed the closest to the pin trophy. Dhiraj Gurung received the best sportsmanship award.
