Japan provides Rs 9.59 million to Damauli Hospital

Kathmandu, March 13: The Government of Japan has decided to extend financial assistance of approximately Rs 9.59 million to Damauli Hospital, a government hospital in Tanahun district.

This financial assistance is extended under the grant assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) scheme of the Government of Japan.

A grant contract relating to this project was signed and exchanged today at the Embassy of Japan between Masashi Ogawa, Ambassador of Japan and Dr Bibek Kumar Lal, Medical Superintendent of Damauli Hospital.

The Government of Japan will support to provide, through this Assistance, medical equipment such as an ECG machine and USG machine for the hospital.



Japanese Ambassador Ogawa said Japan expects this project to be both a success and enhance the cordial friendship between the people of Japan and Nepal. RSS
