Int'l management conference kicks off

KATHMANDU, March 11: A three-day international management conference kicked off on Thursday aiming to discuss new management practices and corporate culture that the country is yet to catch up.



According to KFA Business School and Nepalese Academy of Management, the joint organizers of the event, the conference is being attended by 200 national and international delegates, including chief executives of various institutions, entrepreneurs, managers, management education specialists and aspiring business authors and writers. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari inaugurated the conference being organized with the theme, ´Changing Perspectives of Management´.



According to a press statement, Professors Dr Chris Brewster of Henley Business School, Dr Gary D Burton of Neely School of Business and Dr Barbara Gastel of Texas A & M University are scheduled to present papers on different topics such as organization, human resource management and corporate social responsibility.
