JHAPA, Nov 7: As India's unofficial blockade continues, even a single vehicle carrying petroleum products has entered Nepal for the past five days from the eastern entry point of Kakarbhitta in Jhapa district.

Fuel crisis in the entire Mechi zone has deepened due to lack of fuel import from this check point after the disruption in the supplies.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamkrishna Adhikari said that 35 tankers carrying fuels have been stranded in Indian side due to the undeclared blockade from India.

However, 64 vehicles carrying fruits, vegetables and fish have entered Nepal on Friday via Kakarbhitta entry point. RSS
