I let go of all the pain
I looked at the mirror in vain
I smiled at the same thing
I no longer cared about the past
I didn’t want to predict future so fast
I was happy living in this moment
Even though I know it wouldn’t last
I opened the window
And felt the breeze pass me
I didn’t expect anything
I let life as it wanted to be
I danced in the sunshine
I sang my favorite song
For I had finally understood life’s worth
And even if we fall, there’s nothing wrong
I looked at the bird sitting on the tree
I chased my dog
And it made me happy
I told to myself
Even if I’m alone, I’m not lonely
I don’t care anymore
I opened my arms and yelled
I know I was being me
And I finally became free
