The hospital has been buying water from private water suppliers. The water to the hospital is brought in tankers that fill directly from the Trishuli River.[break]
Although the hospital has been getting clean water from Thumka where it has also built a water reservoir, the locals cut the supply pipe time and again and cutting off the water to the hospital.
The hospital is currently purchasing water from private water suppliers for Rs. 1,000 per tanker. It buys two tankers of water daily.
