On Tuesday´s line-up, HSC fielded their regular players, who had won the knockout tournament in Kathmandu, to face RCT. National captain Sagar Thapa and Jagjeet Shrestha joined the team in the final after being released from the national team following their recent triumph in the AFC Challenge Cup group D qualifiers.
HSC took lead through a goal from Ugandan player Oryek Allen in the 35th minute. HSC continued their pressure against RCT after the goal.
After the interval, national squad player Shrestha sealed the victory for HSC as he scored in the 76th minute.
With the win HSC bagged a purse of Rs 200,000 while RCT had to settle for Rs 100,000. The organizers awarded the two semifinalists New Road Team and PLA Sports Club with Rs 50,000 each.
