The heavy snowfall has thrown normal life in the rural VDCs out of gear, said Ang Chiring Lama, a local resident of Chekampar.
Following the snowfall, mercury has dipped sharply. Students have been facing a lot of problem in going to schools.
VDC secretary of Chekampar Bal Bahadur Panta said the snow has arrived earlier this year. Locals say some rural villagers have been preparing to shift sheep sheds to plain areas.
