Govt transfers 23 secretaries

KATHMANDU, Jan 31: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle since Dr Baburam Bhattarai-led government came in power, the cabinet has transffered nearly two dozens senior officials.



A cabinet meeting held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday afternoon took a decision to this effect. [break]

According to Minister of Physical Planning and Works Hridayash Tripathi, the government has also decided to provide Rs 250 million to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) for smooth supply of petroleum products.



Prime Minister Bhattarai assured that the government would take initiative to pass inclusion Bill and immediately start recruitment of Madhesi youths in the army.
