KATHMANDU, April 16: Minister for Information and Communications Krishna Bahadur Mahara said the government would provide e-mail and Internet facilities to the members of the Constituent Assembly while speaking in the meeting of the capacity enhancement and resources management committee of the Constituent Assembly (CA) on Thursday.

Mahara said the meeting of the Council of Ministers before this has taken a decision to this effect as per the demand of the CA members. The minister said that the government will make arrangements for the budget required for providing these facilities and that the Finance Ministry has already approved the budget.
Stating that unlimited services cannot be provided, he said discussions will be held with Nepal Telecom as to the minimum e-mail and Internet facilities that could be provided to the CA members.
The meeting was chaired by Committee chairman Mrigendra Kumar Singh.
