“The meeting decided to formulate a working plan to deal with the shortage of essential commodities in the market during bandas and strikes,” Ojha said after the meeting.
The meeting also decided to escort vehicles carrying vegetables from major producing districts outside the capital. “We have decided to escort vegetable supplies to the capital, as the capital is running out of stock,” Ojha said.
He claimed that the government has sufficient stock of food grains and petroleum products.
