This year the series began on August 15 with a performance by Dinesh and The Usual Suspects. The next event is scheduled to take place on August 22 at Vintage in Durbar Marg, where the same band will be playing. [break]
One can also catch the band perform Rock n’ Roll sensations at subsequent Golden Moments events at Dega in Kumaripati on Friday and at Electric Pagoda in Thamel on Wednesday.
Golden Moments, an annual premium rock event, in September, has yet another sting of hit songs for the people. Performances from both local and international artists are scheduled to take place on August 31 with the local band The Heartbreakers at Trisara in Lazimpat.
The same band will be playing on September 5 at Moksh in Jhamsikhel, September 7 at Brian’s Grill House in Dillibazar and September 12 at Tamas in Thamel.
The final performances for the season will be a Tribute to the Beatles performed by two artists from the UK - Gary Gibson, widely known as the best British John Lennon impersonator and Richard Neale, a professional Paul McCartney impersonator since 1998, at Meconopsis on September 14.
