Gold, silver prices continue to rise

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 306,600 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 5,290 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: The prices of gold and silver continued to rise in the local market today, with both precious metals recording gains compared to Tuesday.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 306,600 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 5,290 per tola.

On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 305,500 per tola and silver at Rs 5,240 per tola.


International media reports state that gold is currently trading at USD 5,060 per ounce in the international market, while silver is priced at USD 82 per ounce.
