Kuldeep Jugjali of Beni Bajar, who went for dinner at Pun Hotel and Naan House on Monday evening, got robbed after being drugged by the 20-year-old girl who identified herself as Mina. Jugali, who owns two houses in Myagdi district and a farming equipment shop, is getting treatment in a nearby hospital.According to Jugali, he was acquainted with the girl as she showed up at his shop and asked for his visiting card sometime ago. She claimed herself to be from Doba VDC and said her name was Mina. After taking his visiting card, they talked over phone for 2-3 times before they decided to meet over dinner.
She came to the hotel as per their plan for dinner.
"When I said I wanted to have dinner, she asked for wine. So, I did the same. I only remember her taking something out of her pocket saying it to be something sweet," said Jugali. He became unconscious after drinking the wine.
Police are searching for the girl with brown hair and slim figure, who was wearing white pants and white sweater. The hotel manager informed that the girl looks like someone who is a returnee from abroad and can speak Arabic language.
Jugali assumes that the woman ran away during the night. She took three of his rings, four tolas of golden locket, two tolas of hand bracelet along with expensive mobile phone and cash.
The incident came to light only after the manager of the hotel took Jugli to a nearby district hospital.
Police officer Lokendra Singh informed that they are investigating into the matter.
