FSFN Chairman Upendra Yadav said that the meeting of the party held on Sunday decided to join hands with pro-identity forces to start Kathmandu-centric protest.
The extended meeting of Central Working Committee of the party concluded that the government is not serious for talks and hence there are no alternatives for decisive agitation.
The party has denounced the amendments in the constitution.
“The government made changes in the constitution unilaterally and forcefully,” Chairman Yadav said after the meeting, “The amendments don’t address Madhes protest.”
The meeting also demanded formation of a high-level commission to probe ‘repression’ in protest and take action against those guilty, according to FSFN Vice-chairman Lalbabu Rawat.
