The arrestees are identified as Santosh Rai, Udim Rai, and Hemant Rai of Bhojpur , Kot VDC – 6 and Basanta Rai of Tiwari Bhyanjang.Sudan Kumar Sijapati, DSP at area police office, Dharan, informed that 12 rounds of gelatin, 23 rounds of detonator along with several other weapons and Rs 79,720 cash were recovered from them.
According to DSP Sijapati, acting on a special tip off, a joint team of regional investigation bureau, Biratnagar and area police office, Dharan arrested them.
Arguing that they are at the preliminary stage of investigation into the case, Police also put suspicion over their connection with the underground organizations.
