KATHMANDU, Sept 19: The police have arrested four individuals on the charge of robbing a gold chain.
The arrested individuals are Suraj Gurung from Kathmandu Bagbazar, Anwar Hussain Ansari, a resident of Chhetrapati originally from Birgunj, and Indian nationals Shakti Bhowmik and Sachin Gadve.
According to the police, Ansari, riding on a motorcycle driven by Gurung, snatched a gold chain worth approximately 2 tolas from Apsara Shrestha, a resident of Kuleshwor, Kathmandu, on September 11.
The arrested Indian nationals are accused of buying the gold chain. According to the police, further investigation into the case is underway.
