According to the police, Poudel, who had been absconding since August 15, was arrested from Bandeau village along the Arniko highway. He had been hiding in the capital and was returning home for the Dashain festival, the police said. [break]
Earlier, the police have already arrested two others involved in the case.
“We arrested Poudel on the basis of information provided by those already arrested in the case,” said DSP Pratap Kumar Gurung. Poudel´s brother Narayan, the mastermind, is still at large.
