KATHMANDU, May 10: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today, with slight fluctuations seen in major international currencies, including the Singapore dollar, Canadian dollar, and Australian dollar.
The buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 150.88, while the selling rate stands at Rs 151.48.
Similarly, the buying rate of the euro is Rs 177.54, and the selling rate is Rs 178.25. The British pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 205.30 and a selling rate of Rs 206.12.
The Japanese yen is being exchanged at Rs 9.62 for buying and Rs 9.66 for selling per 10 units, while the Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 22.18 and a selling rate of Rs 22.27.
Forex update: US dollar selling at Rs 148.99
Among other widely used currencies, the Australian dollar is being traded at Rs 109.18 for buying and Rs 109.61 for selling. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 110.56 for buying and Rs 110.99 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is valued at Rs 119.01 for buying and Rs 119.49 for selling.
The Saudi Arabian Riyal is being exchanged at Rs 40.22 for buying and Rs 40.38 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal stands at Rs 41.41 for buying and Rs 41.58 for selling.
Likewise, the UAE Dirham is being traded at Rs 41.08 for buying and Rs 41.25 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 38.48 and a selling rate of Rs 38.65.
Other exchange rates published for today include the Swiss Franc at Rs 193.82 for buying and Rs 194.59 for selling, the Thai Baht at Rs 4.68 and Rs 4.70, respectively, and the South Korean Won at Rs 10.29 for buying and Rs 10.33 for selling per 100 units.
The Swedish Kroner is being traded at Rs 16.39 for buying and Rs 16.46 for selling, while the Danish Kroner stands at Rs 23.76 and Rs 23.85, respectively.
Similarly, the Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.27 for buying and Rs 19.35 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar remains among the highest-valued currencies, with a buying rate of Rs 492.75 and a selling rate of Rs 494.71.
The Bahraini Dinar is exchanged at Rs 399.84 for buying and Rs 401.43 for selling, while the Omani Riyal stands at Rs 391.89 and Rs 393.45, respectively.
