FNJ gifts handcuff, bulb to Mahara

RUKUM, June 28: Media persons through the Chief District Officer (CDO) have gifted Home Minister Krishna Bahdur Mahara handcuffs and a bulb, on Tuesday, demanding action be taken against Parshuram Basnet, who masterminded the attack on Journalist Khilanath Dhakal.



A team of journalists led by the Chairman of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Rukum Chapter Kamal Thapa, have handed the items to the CDO, who then informed that the gifts will be sent to the Home Ministry on Tuesday itself. [break]



Press Chautari Nepal, Nepal Press Union and Revolutionary Journalists association also expressed their support for the program.
