Family builds six-km road

KATHMANDU, April 18: Army Chief General Rookmangud Katawal on Saturday inaugurated a road constructed in Barnalu and Rumjatar VDCs of Okhaldhunga. All the expenses of the six-km road were borne by the wife and sons of late Narayan Bahadur Gurung. The Narayan Bahadur Gurung Memorial Road links Sanitar, Dandabari, Thulodhik and Budhatol to district headquarters. Family members of the late Gurung also provided Rs 100,000 to local Bhagawati Youth Club for maintenance of the road. On the occasion, Katawal also provided Rs 25,000 to the Club.
