KATHMANDU, June 28: A group of students from Kathmandu Barca College in Tinkune were explaining their line-tracing and obstacle-detecting terminator to the visitors. Another group of students studying Bachelors in Electronics at Pulchowk Campus Institute of Engineering (IOE), had created a model for electrification of rural Nepal using a combination of three different natural energy sources.

Many such ideas, models and prototypes were demonstrated at the 10th National Technological Festival organized by Locus 2013, a group of fourth year electronics and computer and electrical faculty students. The three-day festival kicked off at Pulchowk Campus premises on Friday and was jointly inaugurated by Ananda Raj Khanal, the Director of Nepal Telecommunications Authority, Prof Dr Subarna Shakya and Prof Timila Yami, Assistant Deans at Institute of Engineering (IOE).[break]
