Yatra 1.0 pushes tech advancement

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: The increasing need for technological advancements has brought about many new inventions. To give continuity to technological creations, the National College of Engineering, Lalitpur organized Yatra 1.0 with the motto ‘A step toward technology’.

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: The increasing need for technological advancements has brought about many new inventions. To give continuity to technological creations, the National College of Engineering, Lalitpur organized Yatra 1.0 with the motto ‘A step toward technology’.

According to the press statement released by the college, the program was inaugurated in the presence of Dr Niranjan Prasad Sharma, assistant dean of IOE as a chief guest and Allen Bailochan Tuladhar, Microsoft regional director as a special guest. “Their presence in program created an inspiring aura and their words helped several concerned individuals to change their attitudes toward Nepali youths and also helped to change the view of others toward Nepali technology,” read the statement. 


The event that concluded on Sunday also featured several competitions in robotics, drones, code debugging, software and hardware development and gaming.
