Endangered Pangolin found dead

PALPA, Nov 6: The world rare wild life species, Pangolin, has been found dead in Chirtungdhara VDC-9, Gorsat.

The Government of Nepal has scheduled Pangolin characterized by low reproduction capacity in the preserved list considering it an important wildlife of bio-diversity.


Kaman Singh Bagale, a local of Gorsat, informed the Palpa Forest office after he noticed the dead wildlife nearby an agriculture plot. According to District Forest Officer Prakash Lamsal, the Pangolin with a length of 75 centimeter has the weight of five kilograms. RSS
