Every child deserves the best. And introducing the child to a reading habit is one of the best things we could do.

Instead, invite your younger siblings, cousins, neighbors, anyone, to the world of books. A world of endless imagination and awe will be opened to them. Read to them before bed and during holidays. It’s said reading to kids builds your bond with them, makes them better listeners and more imaginative.

Start with colorful books with lots of pictures that you can point at. Read aloud and be funny to hold their attention. Perfect for them are books by Dr Seuss and Roald Dahl. Slowly, they can read Judy Blume, Anne of Green Gables and other riveting children’s books.
